with Custom Designed Hand Sewn Lamp Shade

A fabulous c1918 vintage bridge lamp-totally restored, rewired and ready to use.  This has a single socket top--perfect for the new energy saving bulbs!  Especially for this lamp, we have custom designed this lamp shade in shades of burgundy, blues, bronze and gold to matche the colors found on the hand painted lamp itself. We have combined  vintage fabrics and trims to replicate a shade of the style and elegance that would have been found with this lamp originally.  Included are hand ruched ribbon trims, hand painted lace appliques, metallic overlays and hand painted fabrics. The shade is finished with luxurious, thick custom dyed french twist fringe which showcases a layer of lush, long, hand beaded, all glass fringe in coordinating colors. Absolutely ONE OF A KIND!! So much more than just lighting for your home-but a work of art that can be the focal point of any room.
