The fixture is
semi-flush to the ceiling allowing for use in areas where the
ceilings are low and not limited to being hung ONLY over a
table. This is a really beautiful ceiling chandelier
from the 1930's era. The fixture itself is porcelain and made by
Porcelier and is antique white with hand applied gold accents. It
has three sockets. The drop is only 7 inches and the shade is
a huge 14 1/4 inches across. The gorgeous shade is heavily embossed on the inside with stylized leaves and swirls. The shade is a combination of clear crystal and white. It is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or damage. A truly lovely fixture to add to the quiet elegance of your home. This is a three socket fixture. It will work only from a wall switch. Adding American made vintage or antique lighting to your decor brings a touch of the past into your daily life while providing quality that is not available in most of the fixtures produced these days.
