Here is a cast
metal flush mount fixture from the 1920's. It has been totally
restored and rewired and is ready to hang. The fixture has been
meticulously hand painted in burgundy,
terra cotta, sage and eggplant and has been softly aged
with overtones of umber. We use multiple
washes of transparent lacquers as were originally used in
the 1920's and 30's when polychromed fixtures were the height of elegance
and fine home decor. This fixture measures 15 inches across
with a drop (extends down from the ceiling) of 6 inches
to the bottom of the spiral
finial.
