Restored c1918 Vintage Bridge Lamp with Custom Designed Hand Sewn Lamp Shade A
striking c1918 vintage bridge lamp, totally restored and fitted with
period style custom designed shade in burgundys and blue with bronze.

This is a classic turned wood stem floor lamp from the 1930's, in original finish. The base shows minor wear and a slight separation where the wood was pieced. There are minor paint rubs on the stem but overall-lots of charm. This is mostly bronze/dark gold with accents of dark brown and green. This lamp has been cleaned and rewired-it has a double socket top. It stands 63 inches high and the base is 11 1/2 inches wide. The lamp is shown with a custom hand sewn vintage style shade in gold and brown with embroidered details in green with touches of rose. The fabric is from a 1930's bedspread which was appliquéd and hand embroidered. The shade is lined in off white for good light reflection and trimmed with ombre dyed fringe in coordinating colors. The sides have an overlay of vintage millinery netting. FL3171Lamp only

This is a nice, classically
styled floor lamp from the 1920's. It measures 61 1/2 inches to the
top of the finial. It is painted metal with a dark gold/bronze
finish. The harp is cast metal and not removable. There is a
small husk decoration under the
socket area. The stem is plain. The heavy cast metal base is 9
inches across and has the popular crossed ribbons and leaf design found on
many hanging fixtures from the period. The base
has polychrome decoration in green, dark red and ivory. This is
shown with hand sewn shade in tapestry but most larger shades with a washer fitter will work
nicely. This has a single socket with a pull chain switch and has
been rewired. The new energy saving bulbs would be a
great choice for this!
