This is an
exceptional brass gas bracket from the 1880. This style is shown in the C.
H. McKenney Co catalog of 1880 and I would suggest this is by McKenney
though it is unsigned. The overall height is 17 inches and the reach is 15
inches. This is stationary-not
a swing arm. A back plate has been added to cover a modern electric
box. The body of the sconce has a rose brass finish. The fittings
are very decorative. This is offered with a new, signed Vianne
acid etched shade and hand cut Czech crystals. A very elegant
piece for that special spot. top
Standard size socket.
